Sažetak
In the region of the soft parts of the lips, chin and face surgical interventions aro performed which do not need a general anaesthesia. This region is supplied by many re'vcs so that the problem of complete blockage by conductive anaesthesia beeri satisfaetory solved.The authors lave investigated these parts of the body and tried to glava a satlsfactry solution of conducting anaesthesia of this region.
By studying and dissecting a great number of anatomical specimens thev determined first the points cf blockage and then tried by combination of these points to achieve a complete anaesthesia of the region. The division in regions is not a purely topographical one although it was the starting point. Later cn they divided this region in an anterior (upper and lower up and chin) and lateral region (regio buccalis, regio zygomatica, regio masseterica and regio retromandi- bularis). The final delimitation of a region as made on basis of complete anaesthesia of the operative field after conductive anaesthesia of the nerves or nerve branches wich sipply a given region had been carried out.
