[The prosthetic significance of the primary fluorescence of human teeth]

Sažetak

In the introduction to the report it is pointed out that human teeth like some other biolcgical tissues are characterized by their property of fluorescence which has only lately begun to attract the attention of prostheticians althoug it was well known for a great many years.
In considering the significance of fluorescence in relation to modern sources of light the author has reached the conclusion that mistakes in the selection and mathing of colours are in part due to the neglecting or rather lack of knowledge of this phvsical optic phenomenon. He emphasizes the need of aaequate research in order to maka complete and scientific reproduction of the natural colour of teeth possible.
