Sažetak
Der Beitrag weist zum einen auf zwei für die Interpretation des Dramas "Mein Kampf" von George Tabori wesentliche Aspekte hin: die Verarbeitung des ins Unhistorische gewendeten historischen Gehalts des Stücks in der dramatischen Form der Farce und das Spiel mit dem Verhältnis zwischen den Hauptfiguren. Zum anderen werden drei für die Aufnahme dieses Titels im Jahr 1989 in der kroatischen Hauptstadt Zagreb zentrale Aspekte untersucht: die traditionelle Popularität der Form der Farce auf Zagreber Bühnen; die Möglichkeit, im Text Bezüge zur gesellschaftlich-politischen Lage im damaligen Jugoslawien zu erkennen; Parallelen zwischen der Dramatik von Tabori und neuen Modellen in der kroatischen Gegenwartsdramatik der 1980er Jahre.
This article draws emphasis on two key aspects crucial for the interpretation of George Tabori's play "Mein Kampf": Tabori's distortion of historical theme in the dramatic form of a farce and his play with the relationship between the two protagonists. In addition to that, the article suggests three reasons for the positive criticism the adaptation of this play received in Zagreb in 1989: traditional popularity of farce in Zagreb theatres; parallels between the text and the social and political situation in Yugoslavia at the time as well as parallels between Tabori's drama and new models in Croatian contemporary drama of the 1980s.
