Sažetak

This paper analyzes a sustainable development concept and the potential the existing housing stock has to fulfill its objectives. It offers a comparative analysis of the existing models for the evaluation of various aspects of housing sustainability. The aim of the analysis is to assess the advantages and drawbacks of the existing tools for building evaluation in order to set up the guidelines for a new model of sustainability assessment.
