Sažetak

Coordination, motor planning and successive actions
allow sequencing of the movements, i.e. motor
performance which influences the motor development of
a person. Children who have difficulties with
coordination, motor planning and successive abilities,
have difficulties in resolving motor problem situations,
purposefulness and imitation of both simple and complex
motor acts, they also have difficulties with normal motor
development. Motor development affects the many
aspects of a child's successful cognitive, perceptual and
social development. Difficulties in motor skills together
with motor function difficulties are called the
developmental coordination disorder.
Coordination, motor planning and successive
abilities can be developed and improved by sports and
recreational programs that are individually adapted to
each child who has a disability. The development of one
capability simultaneously influences the development of
the following two capabilities. Their role lies within the
execution of purposeful actions. They are also important
for a normal social interaction and behavior, i.e.
socialization. Moreover, the motor planning influences
the perception of the body in space and the creation of
intellectual images of different parts of the body.
