Modern mobile ICT solutions and services in the service of firefighting

Sažetak
This paper describes how modern ICT technology contributes the development of modern fire service. Through the work described different applications, primarily for smartphones and tablets that are used and the applications that were developed in Croatia or can be found on the electronic services for distribution applications (AppStore, PlayMarket etc.). applications are used to provide timely firefighters information or help with performing firefighting activities.
The benefits of different applications and systems have all the fire hierarchy, from firefighter, commander / leader individual interventions to the unit commanders, county commander, etc. Applications that can be found or developed, are intended for different levels in the fire fighting units and organizations.
Any modernization or any help perform firefighting intervention contributes to the mission of the fire brigades, and that is as soon as possible and effective assistance to citizens in their various needs. As the fire activity is carried out mostly on the ground, then were of great help various mobile applications and services that provide a variety of information, and communicate with each other firefighters on the ground.
