Sažetak
The aim of this paper is to set up a systematic review of the development of the concept of carrying capacity, to elucidate the methodological point of view in terms of the definition and evaluation of carrying capacity, and to determine the relation between tourism carrying capacity concept and spatial planning. A tourism carrying capacity thesis is also presented as an active method for planning, control and evaluation of tourism activity.
