Prolegomenon for New Aesthetics of Architecture

Sažetak

The paper discusses the conceptual, subject matter and methodological capabilities of aesthetics of architecture in relation to contemporary, discursively and culturally oriented aesthetics. It parallel analyzes the conditions of current transformations: 1) aesthetics to the philosophy of culture; 2) the architectural theory to the concept of architecture as a cultural text. The position of the new aesthetics of architecture is proposed in transdisciplinary synthesis of recent approaches in the general aesthetics, architectural theory and aesthetics of
architecture.
