Why should the route of the Adriatic motorway be re-examined and modified

Sažetak
The discussion starts with assertion that the currently valid route of the Adriatic motorway between the Novi Vinodolski and Maslenica interchanges should be re-examined. The reasons for this assertion - such as economic development, length of the route, cost-effectiveness of investment, climatic conditions, driving time and motorway related savings - are described. In conclusion, it is emphasized that there is no reasons for adhering to the planned route and that the route following the sunny side of Velebit mountain should be adopted.
