Pseudo-Victor, a Triptych in Dubrovnik

Sažetak

The author publishes an unattributed tryptich from Dubrovnik. The central panel shows Our Lady with Jesus on a stone throne, whereas the wings represent the Evangelists with S. George and S. Dimitrios respectively. The similarities with the style and figure of Evangelist Matthew from Venice suggest that both were painted by a follower of the mysterous painter Victor.
