Sažetak

This paper discusses about important issues related to renewable energy
sources and about the European aspects of the development of clean energy sources
and the development of European energy legislation. Furthermore we analyze the
French example and highlight the continuing need of harmonization of legislation of
Republic of Croatia with the EU legislative framework relating to renewable energy
and energy efficiency. Final evaluated a comprehensive legal and political significance
administrative standardization of renewable energy sources.
