Sažetak

International Scientific Conference MATRIB was held in Vela Luka, the Island of Korčula, June 25-27, 2015. It was organized by the Croatian Society for Materials and Tribology, the Institute of Materials and Machine Mechanics - the Slovak Academy of Sciences, Dublin Institute of Technology, the University North, and the University of Zagreb - Faculty of Graphic Arts. The Conference is the international conference intended for the scientists who do research into materials and tribology. It has been held annually since 1999. Scientists and students from all over Europe attend this three-day conference. The 2015 MATRIB Conference was held in memory of ass. prof. Gojko Marić, PhD, who was a regular participant and one of the main organizers of this conference.
The themes of the 2015 MATRIB International Conference were: materials and processes, metallurgy, testing and characterization of materials, friction and wear, surface engineering, chemical engineering, nanomaterials and nanotechnology, materials protection, lubrication, materials in graphic industry, materials in naval architecture, materials in mining, materials in civil engineering and education.
