Sažetak

Comparable to all digital technologies, LED lighting is developing at an enviable speed, which currently enables optimization of costs with the improvement of lighting quality in almost all areas of human action.
This especially refers to workplace lighting in a wider sense. On the other hand, we are facing quite outdated outdoor lighting of railway stations as very complex systems, which is not suitable for current conditions. Having connected these two starting propositions, we have arrived at the conclusion that, with currently available sources of financing, the time is right for the reconstruction of outdoor lighting of railway stations on Croatia.
