Sažetak

This specialist paper covers the area of development and application of railway infrastructure asset management system. An integrated system model of railway infrastructure asset management was shown, which enables the improvement of outdated and inefficient way of asset management and performance of maintenance activities based on the principle of repairs after the malfunction has occurred (corrective maintenance) compared to the future, integrated asset management system and maintenance activities, aimed at prevention of malfunction occurrence (preventive maintenance), taking into consideration life-cycle
cost analysis (LCC ) of each separate part of the system.
