Sažetak
In 2014, a unique and specialized Multilingual Dictionary of Fisheries was published by the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Zagreb. It is published in Croatian, Latin, English and the Czech language as the first of its kindin Croatia. The authors have alphabetically synthesised and defined, in a very distinct and conceptually coherent way, on 732 pages, more than 7000 language entries, grammatical, normative, terminological and lexicological units, which include ichthyology, systematics, aquaculture, physiology, anatomy, pathology, fishing, processing and ecology, thus enabling the reader to navigate quickly and to easily find solutions for the translation of certain words and terms. This dictionary will greatly contribute to the education and development of self-awareness of its users.
