Sažetak
'When values in education are studied, certain aspects of sociological approach are of particular interest, namely those that seek to answer the following questions: who are the exponents of the dominant social and cultural values, and thereby of values in education as well, in the society in question; how are those particular cultural and social goals and values expressed in curricula, syllabi and pedagogical theory, as having a scientific and generally cultural nature and shaping one’s viewpoint. An approach to education as an organized and institutionalized aspect of the process of acculturation requires thus that education also be analyzed with regard to its value (cultural and ideological), and that the question of values in education be deemed as a question of the official and dominant culture and its understanding of the world.
