Yugoslav Self management – Thirty Years Later

Sažetak

In this article the author points out the main results of the development of Yugoslav self management in the last thirty years. He also put into question some of the conclusions of different Yugoslav and foreign authors about the results of the development of Yugoslav self management (Meister, Horvat, Golubović and the others). Instead of making “impressionistic” judgments about self-management in Yugoslavia, the author points out to the many results of different sociological researches which clearly show the successes and shortcomings of the development of self-management in Yugoslavia during the last thirty years. He also points out to the many dilemmas which have to be successfully solved for the further development of self-management in Yugoslavia.
