Sažetak

The paper deals with the basic characteristics of radionuclides that present greatest hazard for man in cases of increased exposure in the environment. It also describes the therapeutic means which have been tested until now and recommended for therapy of internal contamination. Special attention is given to the problem of simultaneous exposure to several radionuclides and to the methods which improve the internal contamination therapy in such conditions.
