Sažetak
After the western part of the Island of Mljet was established as a National park in 1960, the interest in natural science investigations of the southern Dalmatian island has increased. It was therefore proposed that a natural science library should be established in the National Park to include works concerning that island or giving data on its nature. In connection with this it was necessary to compile a bibliography of the Island of Mljet. So far, a total of 398 titles has been collected, which are listed in the register according to the following branches (some woorks appear in two or three branches):

The list of botanical and zoological works includes (in brackets) the number of plant species or animals recorded for the island of Mljet, and if there are no more than five species listed, their latin names are given as reported by the author.
