Sažetak

Some effects of poisonous plants in humans, the symptoms of poisoning and the basic toxicodynamic properties of the biologically active constituents of poisonous plants are discussed. The first aid to be given in cases of poisoning either by medically qualified or non-qualified persons is presented. Basic principles of treatment of poisoning are also described.
