Bidens subalternans DC. in the Neophytic Flora of Croatia

Sažetak
Detailed comparative investigations and analysis of the morphological features of the taxon designated in the Croatian flora by the name Bidens bipinnata« (Trinajstić 1975, 1978, 1979, 1987, Ilijanić and Hećimović 1983, Ilijanić et al. 1991), have shown that it is, in fact, the species B. subaltemans DC.
According to the data published so far (Poldini 1964, 1991, Trinajstić 1975, 1978, 1979, 1987, Ilijanić and Hećimović 1983, Melzer 1987, Melzer and Bregant 1989, Ilijanić et al. 1991, Trinajstić et al. 1993), as well as those still unpublished (Trinajstić, n. p.), related to the distribution of the species B. subalternans on the Eastern Adriatic littoral, this species spreads from Gorizia and Grado in Italy along the Croatian littoral southward to Budva in Montenegro.
