Sažetak

The theme of this study arose from the need to change attitudes and views toward the natural sciences in primary school. In addition to modern methods of teaching science, which have brought better results and positive attitude of students towards science, and information and communication technology in the teaching process becomes an integral and very important part of modern teaching process.The impact of information and communication technologies in the teaching process, in particular, natural history is becoming more and more. Options that brings technology into the classroom contribute to a better realization of outcomes of natural science, and motivated and interestedstudents a positive experience this way of working. The paper pointed out some of the prerequisites to be provided to contents of natural science and science were processed with the support of information and communication technologies. The development of the subject but also digital skills and competencies is an important outcome of today's teaching process. The paper provides a brief overview of the application of ICT in the teaching of natural sciences in primary school children. It was stated a few examples of the use of ICT in lessons of natural science, contributing to the popularization of science in the early stage of education.
