Sažetak

Moslavac is a grape variety cultivated in the Continental area of Croatia. It is mostly cultivated in the Zagorje – Međimurje subregion where it is, economically, one of the most important varieties. Due to this very reason, clone selection procedure was embarked on in 2010 in order to ensure a healthy and quality seedling material. In addition, through the individual clone selection, the intention was to extract divergent clones of this variety. Clone candidates of this variety (defined through the positive mass selection) were planted in 2012 in Međimurje area (Sv. Urban) and, from that point on, they were researched on. Research from 2015 which included 32 clone candidates showed a significant difference between the, economically,
most important characteristics: yield, number of grape cluster per vine, the average mass of grape cluster, mechanical content and basic indicators of the must quality (sugar content, titratable acidity and pH values). The results showed that, among the monitored clone candidates of this variety, there are significant differences among all researched characteristics which should contribute to the extraction of clones further along the individual clonal selection procedure.
