Sažetak
Moslavac variety, i.e. Pušipel as a synonym for this variety in the area of Međimurje vineyards is considered to be one of the most important varieties in the development of viticulture and enology of this area. With the goal of improving the production of wine of this variety, in 2010 clonal selection procedure was started in order to ensure a healthy planting material of high quality and to single out divergent clones of this variety through individual clonal selection in further procedure. This research was conducted on mother vines of Moslavac variety which were singled out in 2010 in the procedure of positive mass clonal selection and where wasn’t determined the presence of economically harmful viruses. In 2011 there were singled out 32 virus-free mother vines of clone candidates of Moslavac variety where a standard ampelographic evaluation was conducted and it included: a description by OIV descriptors, then determining the most important economical characteristics - yield, elements of yield, content of sugar and acids in must, pH values of must, mechanical composition of raceme and grapes and uvometric researches. The obtained results show that there are significant differences in all of the researched characteristics of the observed mother vines of this variety and the obtained results will be compared in the continuation of clonal selection with the results which will be achieved by vegetative progeny of these vines in equal conditions of experimental plantation.
