Sažetak

The author has collected a bibliography of Smičiklas’s works and newspaper articles and the bibliography of the articles and works on him.
In the beginning, while working as a school teacher in Osijek, Smičiklas started by collecting popular tales. When he obtained the teaching post in Zagreb, he prepared several history textbooks.
Tade Smičiklas is the author of the first scientific synthesis of the Croatian history Povijest hrvatska, largely based on archive documents. When he became President of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts, many of his historical works were published in the Academy’s edition Rad. He also wrote a history of Slavonia in two volumes Two hundred years of the liberation of Slavonia.
Smičiklas was twice a Member of Parliament and his parliamentary debates and speeches are printed in newspapers.
