Sažetak
Ecological vegetable production is a kind of agricultural production which protects biological diversity, soil fertility and environment, in accordance with the Ordinance on ecological production. Ecologically produced seed and organic fertilizers are used. Weed is controlled mechanically and by films. Crop rotation is respected by optimum plant density. When diseases and pests appear, some natural and biological preparations are allowed. Attention is paid to useful insects, birds and animals which suppress snails, larvae and insects. The rules for soil tillage should be applied.
One of branches of ecological production is biodynamic method, which is performed in accordance with natural rhythms with respect for all life principles.
