Agricultural characteristics of new hybrids and sorts of oilseed rape in agroeco-logical factors of north west Croatia

Sažetak
For the purpose of establishing the most important agricultural characteristics of new hybrids and sorts of oilseed rape, experiments of different sorts were set up in order to choose the best ones for sowing in the following years. The experiments included the hybrids and sorts of oilseed rape which are already in the production of Republic of Croatia, or that are offered to producers as new creations. In micro experiments in the years of 2006 and 2007 on the site of Zagreb and in the demonstrating experiment in 2007 on the site of Popovaca, seed crop and oil crop were researched, as well as the content of oil in seeds, in the total of 19 hybrids and sorts of oilseed rape. The researched characteristics were significantly affected by the conditions of production (year, site). Significant differences in crop of seed and oil were found between different hybrids and sorts. Based on those researches and according to yield of seed and oil, the most fertile hybrids (Elvis i PR46W10) and Remy sort can be set apart. By the high content of oil in the seed, the sorts Oase, Remy i Courage are prominent.
