Sažetak


This paper deals with placing a fashion object within the context of the museum where it examines the changing role of the same fashion artifact. It also examines the interrelationships between the museum as an institution, the audience that visits it, and the exhibited fashion items. It opens the area of innovative exhibition design and the growing role of the curator. This paper suggests a change within the museum itself, which becomes the place of interaction, communication and education, and fashion is the proprietor of such changes.
