Sažetak

The paper deals with the life and activities of James Cukrova (1838th to 1902nd), founder of the Split company: "Foundry bells Jacob Cukrov". The company was active from 1875 to 1935, and through that time in its foundry cast the bells for many churches. It was particularly active in the period after World War I when it was necessary to fill the bells taken away for the purpose of war.
