Sažetak The main purpose of waste management should be reclamation of valuable raw materials and, consequently, protection of natural environment by reducing consumption of deposits and energy. The metallurgical industry generates considerable quantities of waste containing iron. This article addresses environment-friendly solutions for utilisation of such waste in the form of slime, sludge and dust. What has been discussed is the impact of the technologies proposed on natural environment.
