Forecast as an integral part of integrated disease management

Sažetak

The conditions needed to predict the onset of the disease are stated. The usage of forecasting instruments, as well as their advantages and disadvantages in making decisions to protect plants from diseases are critically discussed. It is noted that the forecasting instruments provide a good basis for the organization of the forecasting. The elements of the forecasting provided by the instruments must be rationally exploited and complemented with the experience of an expert who manages the forecasting.
