Fungal diseases of strawberry root and crown

Sažetak
Diseases of strawberry root and crown can cause several fungal species. Among them the most important are Phytophthora spp., Colletotrichum spp. and Verticillium spp. Other diseases, such as black root rot, may be caused by complexes of several fungal species, sometimes with interaction of biotic and/or abiotic factors. Symptomatology, biology and control measures of some strawberry root and crown fungal pathogens are briefly described.
