Sažetak
6-Amino-6-deoxy derivatives of ascorbic and iso-ascorbic acid have been prepared by a series of nucleophilic substitutions on the C6 atom. In the case of iso-ascorbic acid the nitrogen in position 6 was introduced via the 5,6-epoxy derivative of isoascorbic acid.
