Sažetak

The article represents two Glagolitic editions stored in St. St. Cyril and Methodius National Library’s collection of rare Croatian books. First of them is a new found copy of Tabla za dicu/Abecedarium – printed in Tübingen (Urach) in 1561 by Primož Trubar. Actually it is the 14th copy of the book known until now, preserved completely and bound. The second is a copy of Breviarium Romanum from the year 1688, the last known Glagolitic printed book. In this paper the history of the Glagolitic books printed in the 16th and 17th century is described. Some pedagogical and theological aspects have been commented to represent both books as a part of the European cultural process and heritage and to clarify their place and role for the literary and cultural life of South Slavs (in particular Bulgarians).
