Pneumoconiosis due to the inhalation of hard metal dust

Sažetak

Two cases of hard metal disease are reported in two female workers engaged in the manufacture of hard metal by a process of powder metallurgy from tungsten and carbon with cobalt as a binder. The industrial process is outlined and the literature is reviewed. The clinical and radiographic features of the patients are presented and the findings are compared with those reported from other countries.
