THE PROCUREMENT FUNCTION IN THE HOTEL INDUSTRY

Sažetak

The procurement function plays an important role in the hotel industry. This role consists of continuously
supplying the hotel and its various departments with the materials and equipment required for hotel
operations, for the regular functioning of the storage and transport departments, as well as for the sales of
services prepared. The organizational structure of the hotel and the hotel's procurement department should
be aimed at achieving the objectives and tasks of the hotel in providing a top-quality hotel offer.
