The attitude of the patient towards his illness

Sažetak

Every doctor has to act as a psyhotherapeutic. It is therefore necessary that he becomes aquainted during his studies with the principles of medical psychology and furthermore with the main ideas of psyhotherapeutics. The physician has to consider the psyhic factors of the patient, his attitude towards his illness and has to endeavour to influence him psyhoterapeuticaly specialy in cases of neurotics, hysterics, and psyhopaths. It is always necessary to consider psyhic factor when difficulties which exist already for a long time and which the patient suffered calmly increase although the objective diagnosis shows no change which would explain a course for the worse. In such cases it is advisbale to avoid unnecessary opperations. It is not true that the war be blamed for neurastenic troubles as they cannot be considered as direct consequences of the war which is now two years over.
