Syngenta’s anti resistance programs in crop protection

Sažetak
With frequent use of ai’s with same MoA or from the same class of plant protection products to control insects, diseases or weeds in short period resistance could develop and level of efficacy is lower. We assume that with new regulatory process in EU a lot of old ai will be dropped and new ai will be very challenging to register it. From this point of view, it’s very important to use plant protection products according to label and to follow anti resistance programs. The company Syngenta on a daily basis in the field and in the research centers, in cooperation with IRAC, scientific and expert institutions in Europe and growers carried out anti resistance programs with main goal to educate growers and to help them to manage possible issues with pest resistance.
