Sažetak
The author describes his observations regarding the influence of coal-tar pitch on the workmen's health (80 cases of skin lesions). In most cases the lesions turned out to be acute inflammations of the skin caused by coal-tar- pitch owing to its photosenzitizing action. In eddition to various affections of the skim, some patients suffered also from disturbances in the hematopoietic organs. As regards the course of the disease, the author distinguishes eight clinical types of this ailment.
