Sažetak
The goal of this project was to analyse the number of prescriptions issued for drugs containing narcotics or psychotropic substances. We have analysed the situation in two general practice outpatient departments, Lučko and Zapruđe, throughout the period of three consecutive years - 1998, 1999 and 2000. We have analysed the number of patients using such drugs, the number of issued prescriptions, packaging numbers and types of drugs. In the outpatient department Lučko we have found that these prescriptions were given firstly for epilepsy, secondly for malignant diseases and thirdly for addictions. In the department Zapruđe most are given for addictions, the for epilepsy and finally for malignant diseases.
