Sažetak
Entgegen gängigen Behauptungen, dass Desnicas Roman ein zeitlich bestimmter Roman sei, gehe ich von einer bedeutsamen räumlichen Dimension aus. Das Räumliche entfaltet sich in einer sprunghaften Suspendierung der Linearität, wodurch die traumatischen Erfahrungen des Erzählers performativ wiederholt werden. Eine Bestätigung dieser Poetik findet man auch in Desnicas nichtfiktionalen Texten, die zeitnah zu Proljeća Ivana Galeba veröffentlicht wurden. Dort hebt der Autor die Rolle des Fragments hervor, das die Verräumlichung des Linearen ermöglicht. Das Fragment trägt zu einer Rhythmisierung des Textes bei, mit der die strikte Unterscheidung zwischen Literatur und Musik relativiert wird. // Despite the common praxis of asserting that Desnica’s novel is defined by the temporal dimension, this article asserts the importance of its spatial dimension, developed through a disjointed suspension of linearity, signaling the performative repetition of the narrator’s traumatic experience. This poetic principle can be substantiated by Desnica’s non-fictional texts published simultaneously with Proljeća Ivana Galeba. In these texts, the author underlines the role of the fragment which enables the spatialization of the linear. The fragment contributes to the rhythm of the text, which calls into question the strict division between literature and music.
