Sažetak
The paper presents our initial experiences in the application of intra - arterial transcatheter embolization of the external carotid artery. The procedure was performed as the preoperative treatment of hypervascular tumors in cranial base, indicated in two of our female patients with larger meningiomas with the intention of achieving tumor necrosis.
