Sažetak
For journalists, ethical codes and laws have clearly prescribed the rules for publishing children's photographs in the media, but there is no clear regulation in cases when parents publish the photos of their underage children on social networks. Therefore, this paper examines the issue of parental (ir)responsibility in exposing their own children to the dangers that threaten in such a practice. The first part of the paper presents a brief history of social networks as well as the ethical and legal regulations. In the second part, it points to the very problem of parental moral responsibility for a practice that can negatively affect the identity and psycho-physical development of the child. The aim of this paper is to investigate the issue and to bring in one place the ethical and legal regulations pointing to the gaps therein, so that pastoral workers who face this problem in their daily work have an insight into this frame. In conclusion, starting from the diagnosis of culture, on the basis of church teaching and Christian anthropology, we bring the value judgement and possible the ways of overcoming the problem.
