Sažetak
The crisis of funds and the banking industry,
marked the beginning of the century. The fi rst
critical signals of the unstoppable growth the
crisis came from the US. The fi rst swiftly passed
to Europe and further to the east.
The peak of the crisis in the US was marked by
the collapse of real estate funds. The striking
decline in property value was the tsunami for the
construction sector, and the tide travelled to the
continents. By the end of 2006, the crisis fl ooded
the economy in Croatia. As in other markets, the
greats impact will be on the constructions sector.
The construction industry in the Republic of
Croatia went throught a crisis scenario that spread
across Europe to the east. Only with the fi rst signs
of recovery of the economy that spread across
Europe to the east. Only with the fi rst signs of
recovery of the economy, by the end of 2015, the
construction sector in Croatia shows the fi rst signs
of recovery. The aim of this paper is to analyze the
trends that took place in the Croatian construction
industry in the context of the use of management
tools and fi nancial management.
