Management system by the standard ISO 9001:2000 on example of High School for Safety in Zagreb

Sažetak
This paper presents the management system according to the standard ISO 9001:2000 on the example of High School for Safety in Zagreb. The decision about implementation of management system was made in 2001, and the first activities of School’s management were the definition of Quality policy and forming of the work team with QMR as the head for implementation of the management system. After implementation of the management system, already during the first audits (and those during five academic years) a large number of mistakes in the application of the system and the necessity of revision of some procedures were noticed. But it was also noted that frequent internal audits have led to permanent improvement of the management system and its efficiency, which is also presented in this paper.
