Appendix to the Bibliography of Works on the Protection and Preservation of Archival and Registry Materials Outside the Archives

Sažetak
The foundations of the organized service of supervision over the protection and preservation of archival and registry materials outside the archives were laid in the nineteen sixties, when the modern archive service began to take shape, when the republic Archival Materials and Archives Protection Act (1962) was passed along with several implementation regulations, and when the territorial jurisdiction over already existing archives and the newly founded archives in which special services or departments for materials outside the archives (“external service”) were established and gradually developed. However, the development and the basic characteristics of an organized service for the protection and preservation of archival and registry materials outside the archives in whole or in its individual segments are not topics that have been systematically studied and covered. This paper, which covers the bibliography of papers and other annexes that were published in the Archival News in the period between 1958 and 2014, is supposed to serve as an incentive for further research of that segment of domestic archival theory and practice. At the same time, this bibliography is also the basis for the study of the role of the Archival News as a professional magazine and its development. A total of 330 articles, discussions and other supplements have been included, dealing with the organization of external services in whole or in a substantial part of their contents, with the regulations on the protection and preservation of archival and registry materials outside the archives, with the recording of materials outside of the archives, their evaluation, their selection and exclusion, with physical and technical protection and the downloading of the archive, with the training of the employees in the record offices and with the office operations. The bibliography is divided into four main groups with associated subgroups: 1. Discussions and articles, 2. Views and books reviews, manuals, magazines and other publications, 3. Reports on events, 4. Regulations and normative acts. Within each group or subgroup, papers and articles are listed alphabetically by the surnames of the authors. The papers and annexes of the same author are arranged chronologically by the year of their publication in the Archival News. Papers and annexes with multiple authors are listed in the bibliography only once, by the surname of the first mentioned author.
