Sažetak
This paper examines the registers of births, marriages and deaths of military persons that have been copied and are a part of the Collection of microfilms of the registers and lists of families. The origins and contents of the collection are dealt with. The church history of the initiation and conduct of the registers, as well as the state reforms concerning the registers and religious affiliations and the military curators of souls. The aim of the paper is to show the significance of the registers of military persons as the most complex lists since they comprise religious, military and state competencies. The characteristics, time period, language, script and added lists are analysed.
