New Maritime Code provisions concerning salvage and raising of sunken things from the seabed

Sažetak
The paper analyses the provisions concerning salvage and raising of sunken things from the sea as specified in the new Maritime Code of the Republic of Croatia.
Grounds are specified for the anticipated adoption by Croatia of the latest International Convention on Salvage, 1989, which has not, however, come into force yet.
The analysis rests upon a comparison of the wording of the new Maritime Code with that one of the formerly effective [Yugoslav] Maritime and Inland Navigation Act.
