Sažetak

After several decades of break, in September 2017, the Institute of Archaeology conducted archaeological research at Jalžabet – Bistričak site, east of Varaždin. Bistričak’s works were carried out within the framework of project activities “Iron-Age-Danube” Interreg DTP project, which is partially funded by the EU. The project involves 5 countries of Danube River basin. In archaeological and multidisciplinary research and tourism presentation of the most prominent archaeological landscapes of the eastern Hallstatt circle, the Institute of Archaeology, one of the 10 project partners, is participating mainly with the research of Jalžabet region.
