Sažetak
The Legal Committee held its 61st session at IMO Headquarters from 28 to 29 September 1989 under the chairmanship of Mr Robert Cleton (Netherlands).
The Committee considered a number of issues and among them top priority was given to the preparation and arrangements for the proposed conference to consider the draft protocol to the 1974 Athens Convention which had been prepared by the Legal Committee.
